The year is 2018 and Timeplay is a two-way gaming platform where an audience at a venue like a movie theatre uses their smartphones as controllers to play against each other for prizes.
The servers send signals to the phones and the projector to keep the experience in-sync. It’s like magic!
Its gamified advertising.
Lots of what you’re going to see here are stills from games played by a movie theatre audience in the “pre-show”, that time right before the movie starts, when they try to sell you shit. These are often large brands with money to spend on something “different”. The left side is the “big screen” and the right side is the “controller”
