The year is 2333 and Earth has become a barren garbage pile due to rampant wastefulness from the “civilization” of yesteryear. The remaining inhabitants suffer wretched lives and survive off leftovers and scraps.  Over the course of 68 creepily picturesque pages, we follow the journey of Nathan Mayor, a dangerous and brilliant vigilante-shaman on a mission to eradicate those he deems excessive and immoral.

Created in the spirit of Heavy Metal magazine, The Salesman portrays a blood-soaked, mutated tomorrow. At once literary and lowbrow, The Salesman crosses genres from sci-fi to fantasy to western. At its core, it is an unflinching portrayal of humanity’s never-ending appetite for instant gratification and the overlap between good and evil.

The Salesman is the creation of artist John Little and writer Jon Sufrin, who both live and work in Toronto. Little is a veteran in the schools of animation, video games and classical painting, and Sufrin is a journalist who covers food and arts for The Globe and Mail, Toronto Life and CBC
